You might remember a coffee I had in the shop early last year– it was a delicious coffee from Peru called Las Damas del San Ignatio.

I’m excited to be bringing it back again, and we’re doing something special this time around.

The Las Damas coffee comes from a coop of woman coffee farmers in Peru. Right now my friends at Royal of New York are helping these hardworking women buy solar tents to protect their crops during the drying process. Each tent costs about $290, which is a heavy lift for a Peruvian coffee farmer.

This is where we come in.

For the first 20 customers who choose to help these farmers with a $25 donation through gofundme, I’ll say thanks with a free bag of freshly-roasted Las Damas coffee once my shipment of beans comes in this December or January.

Visit the gofundme page, make a donation and forward your receipt email to tim@thecoffeemess.com and I’ll put you on the list for a free bag. It’s a very easy way to make a difference, I hope you do.

Note: This giveaway is my idea and my responsibility. Neither COOPAFSI nor Royal of New York are involved. This is my way of putting my shoulder behind something I think is a great idea.

If you’re not in the Columbus area we can talk about shipping coffee. Email me (tim@thecoffeemess.com) with questions.
